Recipes for a 9″ pan

How it works

The area of a round pan is π × (d/2)², of a square one a², of a rectangular one a × b. Every ingredient is multiplied by one number: your pan’s area divided by the recipe pan’s area.

If you enter both pan heights under “More options”, we calculate by volume: area × height.

Example: your pan is 24 cm and the recipe’s is 20 cm. The area is 452 cm² instead of 314 cm², so everything is multiplied by 1.44: 200 g of flour → 288 g.
